Sarah is an American Speech-Language-Hearing (ASHA) certified speech and language pathologist, and is licensed in New York and New Jersey. Sarah began her professional career in marketing, and pursued speech and language pathology when she realized that her passion truly lies in helping others, especially children. Having received speech and language therapy as a child, it was a natural fit.
Sarah specializes in the areas of late language emergence (late-talkers), receptive language, expressive language, articulation, social skills, academic support, as well as writing and reading intervention. Sarah has received specialized training in many programs, including the Orton-Gillingham approach to reading, Unlocking Sentences, The Writing Revolution, Social Thinking, PROMPT therapy, and DIRFloortime.
Sarah holds a Master of Science degree in Communication Disorders from Mercy College, and completed her undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.
Sarah resides in the East Village where she enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs.
